unForget is a study tracker that runs entirely on your device. This policy explains what happens to what you write in it. The short version: it stays on your phone, and the developer never receives it.
Nothing. unForget does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server. It has no account system, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party tracking SDKs of any kind.
The topics you add, their review schedule and progress, your reminder time, and your theme preference are saved in the app's own private storage on your device. This data is readable only by unForget. It is not backed up to the developer, and it is removed when you uninstall the app.
unForget schedules review reminders locally on your device using Android's notification system. The reminder text is generated on the device from the topics you wrote. No notification content is sent over a network, and no push service is involved.
When you choose to export your topics, unForget creates a JSON file and hands it to Android's share sheet, so you decide where it goes — email, cloud storage, a file manager, or anywhere else you have installed. When you import, you pick a file and unForget reads it. Both actions happen only when you start them, and the developer has no access to the file or its destination. Once a file leaves the app, it is governed by the privacy policy of whichever service you sent it to.
If you write a link in a topic and tap it, Android opens it in your browser. What happens after that is covered by that website's and browser's own policies.
unForget is a general-audience study tool. It does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
